Sainsbury's Local - Colindale Station

Welcome to Sainsbury's Local - Colindale Station, a staple for those seeking convenience and essentials in the heart of London. Located at 16-18 Charcot Road, just a stone's throw from Colindale Station, this store stands out as a quick-stop solution for busy commuters and locals alike. With a commitment to providing accessible groceries, Sainsbury's Local ensures that you can grab what you need on the go.

As I stepped inside, I noticed the typical Sainsbury's ambiance, albeit with the hustle and bustle of a local community hub. From fresh produce to household staples, the offerings here include bestsellers such as Sainsbury's Chopped Tomatoes Can (400g) for £0.70 and Sainsbury's Cooked Beetroot in Natural Juices (250g) for £0.80; all delicious choices that reflect quality at affordable prices.

The store also caters to your snacking needs, with items like Sainsbury's Sea Salt & Black Pepper Croutons (40g) for £0.60 to elevate your salads or soups. If you're in the mood for a refreshing drink, turn to 7UP Lemon Lime, Zero Sugar Free Soft Drink (8 x 330ml) priced at £4.70.

However, while the product selection boasts convenience, customer feedback reveals a more challenging experience. The reviews highlight issues such as stock trolleys cluttering aisles, making navigation difficult, and instances of unsatisfactory customer service. Reviews from customers like Victoria Nagy and Sophia Christine point out instances of unhelpful staff behaviors and lack of assistance during self-checkout. These comments reflect a fracture in the typically high standards associated with the Sainsbury's brand.

To that end, it’s crucial for the management to address these concerns to restore the once-proud reputation of the shop. Quality products are crucial, but so is ensuring that every customer feels welcomed and supported during their visit.

In summary, Sainsbury's Local - Colindale Station presents a great selection of goods, perfectly situated for convenience. Yet, the store’s potential shines only when combined with effective customer service. With a little refinement in staff engagement and store organization, this cafe can reclaim its value to the local community and become the go-to spot for all your grocery needs.

The shop is convenient as it is close to the station but that’s the only good thing about it.The stock trolleys are always on the shop floor-making it impossible to reach what you are looking for.And weirdly at the age of I was refused to sell alcohol by the black hair lady Fatou (or something like that). She asked for ID as i apparently look under age!!! And as I didn’t have my ID with me as I just popped out she refused to sell to me. She always walks around with such an attitude . Someone from management should absolutely talk to her.Since then I refuse to buy from this shop. Only if very very very necessary!

Extremely poor customer service. The place used to be great before but sadly isn’t the case anymore. They can’t be bothered serving customers doing self checkout. I was in the middle of self checkout when someone came around yelling at me to let go of the basket I was holding. Apparently it’s a conveyor belt and their duty is to put back baskets in its place! The person was rolling their eyes when I was bagging my items (I had only five items and I probably took a min). They were just too eager to call out the till number for the next customer. I felt intimidated being there. Maybe it’s the pandemic stressing retail workers but I think some courtesy to others wouldn’t hurt. After all aren’t all of us in this together?

The staff is rude. The tall black lady working in arranging the shelfs and suppose to provide support to clients is VERY RUDE. I asked her help on the self-check machine and she snapped when I wanted to change the item with another one. You turn people off with the rude attitude. You better apologise to clients rather than hiring rude and loud stuff

If you value your health - skip this store!Only half the customers wear mask and how can you blame them when only in staff bothers to wear a mask ! Surely % of staff would not have a medical condition.Very callous staff and management .. take your business to Co-op which if anything is less crowded and so less risky.
